Center marks and center lines are used to locate center points and axes of cylindrical parts or axes of symmetry. Center lines should project for a short distance beyond the outline of the part to which they refer. Both center marks and lines are a dimension object and should be the same lineweight and color as dimension lines.

Center marks are placed using the Center Mark tool on the Dimension Toolbar. To enable Center Lines to be placed along with center marks on circular features, you will need to make the necessary adjustments in the dimension style (Format - Dimension Style - Modify).
