It's dissapointing when the Old Testament prophets fall out of favour, or are treated like second class citizens in comparison to New Testament books. I think it's probably why much of the modern western church has such a fuzzy understanding of the Kingdom of God. By far, the majority of details […]

An Incomplete Christmas Message
Monday, December 12 2022.
We attended a church service yesterday. It started off with a children's play, re-enacting the events leading up to the birth of Jesus. It was quite endearing. It was followed up with a main message by the Pastor. The focus of the message was Jesus as King. He used Matt 2:6, which was a quote from […]

The Fellowship of Affliction
Sunday, December 11 2022.

When most of us think of human emotions, there's a tendency to regard them as strictly in the realm of human experience. We forget that we were created in His image. We tend to think of our Creator as a "rock wall" when it comes to emotions. This would be a false image. Autumn Crew of […]

The Global Collective
Sunday, December 4 2022.
"The whole world was filled with wonder and followed the beast." Rev 13:3b How could this have been even remotely possible in any other time in human history but today? The "global collective" - group-think mentality enabled by the "world wide web". […]

The Marriage of the Lamb
Thursday, December 1 2022.
In the 19th chapter of the Revelation to John, we see an incredible scene. I heard a sound like the roar of a great multitude in heaven, shouting: “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God! For His judgments are true and just. He has judged the great prostitute who […]

The Seals of Revelation
Monday, November 28 2022.
It's an assumption that the first "seal" coincides with the beginning of the last "seven" in Daniel's "seventy sevens" prophecy. Because it's an assumption, it may or may not be correct. I think this assumption probably has something to do with people attributing the […]

Amillennialism
Sunday, November 27 2022.
Amillennialism is an ugly distortion of the gospel - it rejects the idea of Jesus literally returning to establish His kingdom, and ruling over the earth from Jerusalem. It systematically tries to pull up the "natural olive tree" by its roots and replace it with something artificial. Allow […]
Picture this!
Sunday, November 27 2022.
Our Father in Heaven has given a considerable amount of thought and planning into His Day. There are a thousand bits and pieces recorded in Scripture about this event and the resultant aftermath - the restoration of all things - His kingdom. The account given by Jesus, and recorded by Matthew […]

When political oppression is eliminated
Friday, November 25 2022.

"I hope your families will have the opportunity to celebrate Christmas & New Year's Eve together this year. But remember that thousands of Belarusian children won't be able to hug their mom or dad." - Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya (National Leader of Belarus - in exile) Looking forward to […]

The Refiner
Tuesday, November 22 2022.
I suspect there have been many "Christian" theoretical frameworks that have developed over time like Dispensationalism - and so many more of the other -ism's that exist out there. Many of these nuanced ways of thinking become established as doctrine. All of these "cages" will get […]

His coming and the gathering of His elect
Monday, November 21 2022.
There have been a number of theories that have attempted to explain when Jesus returns. One popular theory is that He would come for His Church in a secret rapture before the period known as the Tribulation - also known as the Pre-Trib rapture theory. But there are some very clear passages in […]

Last Days "One World Religion"?
Tuesday, November 15 2022.
How do you know when you've taken the meaning of a passage too far? Here's a helpful thread from Joel Richardson. The Bible doesn’t actually teach that there will be a “One World Religion.” When many Christians hear this, they will object that Rev 13 seems to suggest otherwise: “[The Beast] was […]

The Counterbalancing Significance of the SCO
Monday, November 14 2022.

This is a good read describing the geopolitical shift to a multi-polar international order centered around Eurasian nations. Noticeably absent - Western powers. The idea that the last days "beast" would come out of Europe has been mostly a Western idea. Though historically, the primary […]

When a Jew Rules the World
Friday, November 4 2022.

"Another negative result of the Church’s ignorance concerning Israel is her relative impotence and inability to articulate accurately the full gospel message, most particularly to the Jewish people. Far too many Christians view the Gospel, or “the good news,” in the most minimalistic of terms, something along the lines of “Jesus died for your sins so that someday, when you die, you can go to heaven forever.” The fact of the matter, however, is that the good news as it was proclaimed by Jesus and the apostles was so much more than this. It involved the full testimony of God, from creation to the great covenants of God, to the atoning death and resurrection of the Messiah, to His return to judge the earth and restore the kingdom of Israel."
- Joel Richardson (exerpt from "When a Jew Rules the World")

The lesson from history
Tuesday, November 1 2022.
The lesson from history? Humans are incapable of managing their own affairs. Left to our own devices, "no flesh would be saved alive" (Matt 24:22). When the fruits of our efforts look the most bleak, "know that He is near". Immediately after the tribulation of those days: ‘The […]

persecution
Saturday, October 29 2022.
In the West, we've been mostly insulated from it. But now It's coming!! The narratives have been building for years. The thing about persecution is it is hardly ever straightforward and direct. It's usually couched in the form of false accusations - like hatred and bigotry. Remember... they called […]

In a nutshell
Friday, October 28 2022.
"In Romans 11, Paul (a Jewish Pharisee who went on to write at least a third of the New Testament) warns particularly about two major pitfalls in Gentile approaches toward Jews who do not embrace Jesus as Messiah" arrogance (Romans 11:17-18) If some of the branches have been broken off, […]

Prepare to Stand
Thursday, October 27 2022.

A cultural and social persecution is coming to the west in which the exclusivity of Jesus as the only way to salvation will become a controversial stance. "The pressure to conform will manifest socially and eventually financially." - Andrew Brunson A dark wave of persecution is coming... […]

Disruption
Tuesday, October 25 2022.
In my short existence (61 yrs), there has never been a time when there has been so much wide spread disruption. So much so, that it's become cliché to comment on the disruption of "these days". Take note! He will shake the world a little bit before He comes to shake the world a lot! All […]
