In Rev 13:14, we see something interesting.
It's described as an "image to the beast". In the next verse this "image" is given the ability to speak and exert influence.
In Rev 14, this "image" becomes an object of worship (vs 9, 11) with its influence growing throughout the remainder of the text (Rev 15, 16, 19, 20).
The AI personage below is fascinating and it's obviously not what's described above.
But the concept... It makes John's statements not so far-fetched anymore.
