Light Pens
A light pen is used as a direct entry input pointing device. The pen is electronic and contains a photocell sensory element to detect the presence of light. Attached through one end is a cable through which the signal is transmitted. The light pen works much like a mouse. It allows you to select drawing objects, menu items or buttons directly on the screen or on a digitizing tablet.
