The Seals of Revelation

It's an assumption that the first "seal" coincides with the beginning of the last "seven" in Daniel's "seventy sevens" prophecy. Because it's an assumption, it may or may not be correct. I think this assumption probably has something to do with people attributing the  […]

Amillennialism

Amillennialism is an ugly distortion of the gospel - it rejects the idea of Jesus literally returning to establish His kingdom, and ruling over the earth from Jerusalem. It systematically tries to pull up the "natural olive tree" by its roots and replace it with something artificial. Allow  […]

Picture this!

Our Father in Heaven has given a considerable amount of thought and planning into His Day. There are a thousand bits and pieces recorded in Scripture about this event and the resultant aftermath - the restoration of all things - His kingdom. The account given by Jesus, and recorded by Matthew  […]

When political oppression is eliminated

child.jpeg, Nov 2022

"I hope your families will have the opportunity to celebrate Christmas & New Year's Eve together this year. But remember that thousands of Belarusian children won't be able to hug their mom or dad." - Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya (National Leader of Belarus - in exile) Looking forward to  […]

The Refiner

I suspect there have been many "Christian" theoretical frameworks that have developed over time like Dispensationalism - and so many more of the other -ism's that exist out there. Many of these nuanced ways of thinking become established as doctrine. All of these "cages" will get  […]

His coming and the gathering of His elect

There have been a number of theories that have attempted to explain when Jesus returns. One popular theory is that He would come for His Church in a secret rapture before the period known as the Tribulation - also known as the Pre-Trib rapture theory. But there are some very clear passages in  […]

Last Days "One World Religion"?

How do you know when you've taken the meaning of a passage too far? Here's a helpful thread from Joel Richardson. The Bible doesn’t actually teach that there will be a “One World Religion.” When many Christians hear this, they will object that Rev 13 seems to suggest otherwise: “[The Beast] was  […]

The Counterbalancing Significance of the SCO

Samarkand-Uzbekistan.png, Nov 2022

This is a good read describing the geopolitical shift to a multi-polar international order centered around Eurasian nations. Noticeably absent - Western powers. The idea that the last days "beast" would come out of Europe has been mostly a Western idea. Though historically, the primary  […]

When a Jew Rules the World

jew-rules-the-world.jpg, Nov 2022

"Another negative result of the Church’s ignorance concerning Israel is her relative impotence and inability to articulate accurately the full gospel message, most particularly to the Jewish people. Far too many Christians view the Gospel, or “the good news,” in the most minimalistic of terms, something along the lines of “Jesus died for your sins so that someday, when you die, you can go to heaven forever.” The fact of the matter, however, is that the good news as it was proclaimed by Jesus and the apostles was so much more than this. It involved the full testimony of God, from creation to the great covenants of God, to the atoning death and resurrection of the Messiah, to His return to judge the earth and restore the kingdom of Israel."

- Joel Richardson (exerpt from "When a Jew Rules the World")

The lesson from history

The lesson from history? Humans are incapable of managing their own affairs. Left to our own devices, "no flesh would be saved alive" (Matt 24:22). When the fruits of our efforts look the most bleak, "know that He is near". Immediately after the tribulation of those days: ‘The  […]
