John, quoting Jesus said, "the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things". John 14:26

And towards the end of John's life, he reminded his disciples that "the anointing that you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as His anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie — just as it has taught you, abide in Him." 1 John 2:27

Every good teacher will encourage and lead you towards developing a relationship with the Father and the Son through the Holy Spirit. Most of the time, this relationship develops during those quiet times we set aside for Him - often outside the walls of a church building. The Holy Spirit is responsible for this. He does it, by "bearing witness with our spirit". Rom 8:16
