In the 19th chapter of the Revelation to John, we see an incredible scene.
I heard a sound like the roar of a great multitude in heaven, shouting:
“Hallelujah!
Salvation and glory and power belong to our God!
For His judgments are true and just.
He has judged the great prostitute
who corrupted the earth with her immorality.
He has avenged the blood of His servants
that was poured out by her hand.”
This great multitude in heaven looks a lot like the bride of Christ. Both the redeemed natural olive branches (Israel) and the wild olive branches that have been grafted in (Gentiles) to form His bride.
Then a voice came from the throne, saying:
“Praise our God,
all you who serve Him,
and those who fear Him,
small and great alike!”And I heard a sound like the roar of a great multitude... crying out:
“Hallelujah!
For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns.
Let us rejoice and be glad
and give Him the glory.
For the marriage of the Lamb has come,
and His bride has made herself ready.
She was given clothing of fine linen,
bright and pure.”For the fine linen she wears is the righteous acts of the saints.
...
“Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.”
This gathering together in heaven of His saints occurs after the tribulation (Matt 24:29-31), but before the wrath of God (1 Thes 5:9) and before the marriage supper of the Lamb - that will likely take place on earth.
But before the marriage supper, His bride, already assembled in Heaven, returns with Him for the last great battle.
Then I saw heaven standing open, and there before me was a white horse. And its rider is called Faithful and True.
...
The armies of heaven, dressed in fine linen, white and pure, follow Him on white horses. And from His mouth proceeds a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and He will rule them with an iron scepter. He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. And He has a name written on His robe and on His thigh:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
