"The end will come like a flood, and until the end there will be war; desolations have been decreed. And he will confirm a covenant with many for one week...

Daniel 9:26-27

Daniel's use of the words "the end" (Heb. translit - "qets") is unique throughout his book. Also note the conditions described for "his people" (Dan 9:24) at this time:

"The end will come like a flood, and until the end there will be war; desolations have been decreed."

And if you do a quick survey of what the major ongoing issue at stake concerning "his people" right now - Palestine.

It's looking a lot like the international pressure for "Palestine" will be the basis for an agreement between Israel and not just one, but "many" nations.
